美标工字钢W系列

his standard is applicable to carbon structural steel sections, steel plates and steel bars for example, bolting or welding of bridges, buildings and general structures.

1.2 if it is required to improve the internal quality and impact toughness, supplementary requirements can be adopted, but the Demander shall indicate in the contract.

1.4 when 4 or 5 groups of wide flange section steels are required instead of columns or compression parts, users shall specify additional requirements, such as the specified refinement of austenite grain size and Charpy V-notch impact.

1.5 the values expressed in inch pound units or Si ＜ meter ＞ units shall be regarded as standard values. In this paper, the SI units are listed in parentheses. The values expressed in each system are not exact equivalents, so each system must be used independently. The mixed use of the two systems will lead to inconsistency with this standard.
